This page is used to test the proper operation of the application server which powers this icoya system. If you can read this page, it means that the application server's HTTP listener is configured and working properly.
If you are a member of the general public:
The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems, or is undergoing routine maintenance.
If you would like to let the administrators of this website know that you've seen this page instead of the page you expected, you should send them e-mail. In general, mail sent to the name "webmaster" and directed to the web-site's domain should reach the appropriate person.
For example, if you experienced problems while visiting www.example.com, you should send e-mail to "webmaster@example.com".
For information on the icoya system, please visit the icoya website.
If you are the application server administrator:
Go directly to the Zope Management Interface if you'd like to start working with the application server right away.
You may now add icoya portals to this application server. To do this log in with an administrative user account and add an "icoya Site" object.
For first steps after installation and support, visit the icoya online help and the icoya frequently asked questions. The icoya documentation is also available online at http://help.icoya.com.
The icoya software is usually shipped with an example portal, which already contains content to showcase the features of this icoya system. Import the available examples now. Log in with the administrative user account when prompted.
Create a new top-level icoya portal right now. Use the administrative user account to log in when promoted.
Consult the icoya documentation for a manual on how to publish your portal by using virtual hosting techniques in combination with powerful web-servers / web-proxies like Apache, Squid, etc. Doing so will make your portal accessible with your preferred URL like http://www.example.com. Using Apache or Squid is the recommended solution to bring your new site online.
For testing or limited access sites it is also possible to do URL traversal directly on this application server by the help of an access rule. To bring the portal /icoyaSite online at this machines port 80 now, click here. This portal is created if its not there already, and administrative user account login is required. Make sure this application server instance also listens on port 80 afterwards (zope.conf). Configuring this requires super user access on the host system.
To remove this page you need to add a portal and do URL traversal, either by using virtual hosting or an access rule. Note that until you do so, people visiting this URL will see this page, and not your content.
